Module Feedback

Filed under: Feedback request — Rowland @ 10:23 am

It would be helpful for me if you can give me some feedback about the use of web based technology in this module.

Would you please comment on how useful the following have been in helping you to learn:

  • the module web site;
  • the module blog (this blog);
  • the module wiki;

Would you also add any ideas you might have to make these technologies more useful in helping you to learn.

Than you for your help

Rowland

  2. The website and the blog was the most useful resources for this module. I can’t say that I really used the wiki.

    Website information very important to the module and can always be accessed from home.

  3. Having all the resources on the Internet proved very useful becuase they could be access from anywhere.

  4. The web site has been very useful for looking back at what has been covered in sessions. I found examples of code very useful. I feel that this was the most helpful feature of the module.

    The think the module blog is a very good record of my learning.

    The Wikki is a good idea but was not used very much as we have a session every week.

  5. I found the website very useful as it contained all of the notes from lectures and the activities. It allowed me to be able to revisit past activities when I was unsure about certain aspects at any time as it is online.

    The blog I found useful when we completed activities on aspects such as accessibility/usability. It allowed the group to easily share ideas and website links. Again access to it is always there, so it provides a resource for looking back at past lectures.

  6. It was just good amount of work that we had to do. I have learnt a lot while enjoying rather than suffering, unlike some of the other modules. I found it helpful to have all the materials on the web, so if we miss any class we could still catch up. Thank you…

  7. The module website as povideed us with lots of information and has been mine essential source.
    The module blog as allowed us to share problems with each other, which as been useful though sadly hasn’t been useed much to fix problems, mainly when lecture was watching us, think this might have worked with a class of post grads.

    The module wiki hasn’t been used very much and was the introduction to the module, think that it was good to have covered this system expressly due to there popularity currently.

  8. I tend to get a bit lost in the many pages of Blogs and Wikis. Apart from that, it’s good that all the info is in one place all of the time, rather than having a load of muddled hand-outs to sort through.
